Employee Duties

Employee duties specify which employees show up in certain areas of the program. There are currently 3 types of employee duties: Security Incident employee, Lease Compliance employee, and Trespasser Visit Authorization employee.

Note: Any changes made in the Setup area of the program are reflected immediately for the user who performed the change(s). However, other users need to close and re-open the Property Security program before the changes will be seen.

Setting Up Employee Duties

Access Employee Duty Setup Tab
1. In the Home tab menu, click Employee Duty Setup (under the Setup heading). The Employee Duty Setup tab opens with all available employee duties listed on the left-hand side of the screen (lease compliance incident, security incident, or trespasser visit authorization).
2. In the Employee Duties list, select and highlight the employee duty you want to work with.
Assign Employee Duty to Employee(s)
3. If necessary, select the assigned department of the employee you want to assign to the employee duty.
4. In the Available Employees list, select and highlight the employee whom you want to assign to the employee duty.
5. Click . The selected employee now displays in the Assigned Employees list.

Note: Employees in this list will appear as choices in the Employees drop-down list on the Lease Compliance Incident screen and Security Incident screen. See "Adding Lease Compliance Incidents"; See "Adding Security Incidents"

6. Repeat until all appropriate employees are assigned to the employee duty.
Save
7. Click to save and apply your changes.

Hint: To exit out of an individual screen or tab, you can click on the toolbar, or next to the screen/tab name. You can also use the Escape (ESC) key on your keyboard. (If you haven't saved any changes before exiting, a message will appear asking if you'd like to save before closing.)

Editing Employee Duties

Employee duty records are available for editing immediately after accessing the Employee Duty Setup tab.

ü To edit the employee duty record, just highlight and select the employee duty you want to work with in the Employee Duties list.
ü Use or to either assign or not assign a highlighted and selected employee to the employee duty.
ü Make sure to click to save and apply your changes.
